Workshop 1: Sun Salutation — The Foundation of Flow

How alignment, breath, and transitions create safe, sustainable movement.

You’ll explore:

Joint stacking in plank, chaturanga, upward & downward dog

Shoulder mechanics & wrist care

Core engagement without tension
-
How to modify Sun Salutes for strength, mobility, or recovery

Outcome:
Move through vinyasa with more ease, less strain, and better breath control.

Workshop 2: Standing Poses — Strength from the Ground Up
​
Focus:
Leg alignment, hip mechanics, and spinal integrity in standing postures.
​
You’ll explore:

Foot pressure & balance distribution

Knee tracking & hip stability

Pelvic positioning for spinal support

Poses like Warrior I & II, Triangle, Side Angle

Feel stronger, more stable, and confident in long holds and transitions.

Workshop 3: Balance Poses — Stability, Control & Focus

Focus:

Building balance through alignment, not tension.

You’ll explore:

The role of the foot, ankle, and hip

Core control vs gripping

Balance poses like Tree, Half Moon, Warrior III

Using props to improve balance (not “cheat”)

Better balance, fewer wobbles, and more trust in your body.

Workshop 4: Backbends — Support Before Depth

Focus:
Creating safe, accessible backbends by distributing movement through the whole body.
​
You’ll explore:

Spinal curves & backbend mechanics

Shoulder & hip opening vs lumbar compression

Supported vs active backbends
-
Poses like Cobra, Bridge, Camel (options for all levels)
